Testing for food sensitivities
Working with clients nationwide
Given how many people suffer daily from migraine headaches, you would think the medical community would have a more standardized approach to treatment. Same for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), fibromyalgia and several other conditions
What we do know is one’s food choices play a part, and the right diet can help relieve—if not flat-out prevent—the symptoms.
The question is: which foods?
The answer depends on the person, and that is where food sensitivity testing comes in.
I am certified to offer an evidence-based food sensitivity test called LEAP (Lifestyle Eating and Performance) that was developed by physicians at Signet Diagnostic Corp.
LEAP is a process that combines patented, blood-test technology and Registered Dietitian know-how to cut out the foods (and chemicals in foods) that trigger unpleasant symptoms for you.
The process begins with a very minor blood draw.
Signet runs the sample through its patented test to pinpoint the foods and additives you are sensitive to.
We get back the test results in about a week, and I then build a custom diet plan for you (including recipe ideas) based on what the tests reveal.
If you suffer from any of these conditions, you may have a food sensitivity and LEAP may be a solution:
- Migraines or other headaches
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Fibromyalgia or other joint pain
- Chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating, gas
- Heartburn or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Weight imbalances
- Chronic fatigue, general malaise, insomnia or brain fog
- Sinus pain, runny nose, post-nasal drip, sore throat
- Eczema or dermatitis
- Autism or ADHD
In as few as four weeks, we can learn exactly which foods cause your symptoms and establish food strategies that work for you.
You will feel better, and you may even lose a few pounds in the process.
