Summer Grilled Peaches

Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 4 peaches, halved with pits removed
  • Canola oil or melted butter for brushing on peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush oil or butter on cut sides of peaches. Grill peaches, cut-side down until grill marks appear, about 3 minutes. Brush bottoms of peaches lightly with oil or butter and turn peaches over. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over cut side of peaches, cover grill and cook until cinnamon-sugar has caramelized and peaches are tender, about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve immediately, with nonfat yogurt, ice cream or crème fraiche and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. Serves 4.
